Fresh off a 5 week Canada wide tour, this captivating country/folk trio is made up of Newfoundland’s finest female musician/singer-songwriters, Karla Pilgrim, Terri Lynn Eddy and Renée Batten. No strangers to performing, these ladies are fined tuned and fun to watch. With their smooth harmonies and fine musicianship they have been turning heads for the past 5 years. The Secrets have played big and small through out the Country. In 2010 they were chosen as opening act for Country Music Legend Alan Jackson on his Freight Train Tour. In three short days the ladies we’re exposed to over 18,000 country fans! In June their performance at the Stan Rogers Folk Festival kicked off their Canadian tour that took them to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. From festivals, industry events and popular night clubs to The Mile One Center, Newfoundland's best kept secret is out!

Karla Pilgrim, a Roddickton native on Newfoundland’s Northern Peninsula, has made her mark on the music scene as a solo singer/songwriter with a voice to remember. A two time Music NL award winner in 2010, Karla received Country Artist of the Year and Female Artist of the Year for her debut album I’ll Think Of You, catapulting her to the top of the provincial Music scene. That same year she also nabbed two East Coast Music Award nominations for Country Recording and Fan Choice of the year. With a decade of performing experience Karla has performed from Afghanistan to Nashville and across Canada holding her own within the industry.

Terri Lynn Eddy, a native of Sibley’s Cove on the islands Avalon Peninsula has been described as having a voice that is a mixture of velvet and steel. This power house, multifaceted vocalist made her way onto the music scene in 1998 with her debut album, Terri Lynn Eddy Dreams, and she hasn’t looked back since. Her latest recording entitled, Terri Lynn Eddy Tonight received 5 Music NL nominations and 2 East Coast Music Award nominations making her know as Newfoundland’s best female rock vocalist. With over a decade of music behind her, Terri Lynn has made her way through the industry with success and notability.

Versatile and rhythmic are just two words used to describe the extraordinary musical talent of Renée Batten. This Conception Bay South native has been laying it down as the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist for the Terri Lynn Eddy Band since 2003. Coming from a strong musical background, Renée is naturally gifted, her ability to play a wide variety of instruments distinguishes her from the rest. At the tender age of four, she began playing the accordion and has since conquered the guitar, bass, fiddle, mandolin, and the bodhran. Now with song writer added to list, Renée’s star continues to shine as a multi-talented musician.
