With the track "Without Manner You Grace Us" the band have an instant hit which I've been listening to pretty much non-stop this past week.

Have a listen on their myspace , I guarantee that chorus line "on my own, you take the only piece of me" will be stuck in your head for days.

Thanks to the likes of RM favourites Maybeshewill and Her Name Is Calla, Leicestershire is building up quite an impressive local scene at the moment, independent of passing trends and awash with some great innovative music. The rather excellent These Furrows are the latest band to back up this claim thanks to their storming four-track EP Masks that recalls but never for one moment pilfers from Big Scary Monsters' finest. All jagged guitars, and indie-rock sensibilities, 'Planes' and 'Anybodies' are a fantastic opening double whammy, 'Ten Years' ramps up the distorted guitar attacks, while with its winning Tubelord-esque group harmonies 'Thrown' closes matters in typically triumphant fashion.

As their second EP, These Furrows are really hitting their stride on Masks. Roll on the debut album and who's to say how far these guys can go. - ....some blog
