The Seltic Sounds

We are a band thats dedicated to the preservation of traditional Celtic music. Using Lively fiddle tunes backed by stylish guitar and held together by driving percussion, we try to display all the possibilities that can be pulled from a seemingly simple irish jig or reel. While our group is a new one, each of us are accomplished musicians. Rose and Lou are a father daughter team who originally started out as a duo but eventually formed the Seltic Sounds with the help of Nate. Between the three of them they've been playing celtic music for over 13 years. Our Influences are pulled from many sources across the celtic and folk music genres. Solas, John Doyle, Liz Carroll, Albert Alfanso, and Gerry O'Connor are all musicians who influence us.
