The Sessions began in the Spring of 2010 with members all from the Albany area. All members just having graduated from High School have been heavily involved in jazz playing, and also appreciated the fire behind a long exploding jam. From both sides of influences, The Sessions were born. Our musical heroes consist of Soulive, Tower of Power, and John Scofield to MadLib, Phish, and Bob Dylan. The goal from the start was to make our tunes swing and have long improved jams throughout all of them, and most importantly to get people up and dancing. The sessions are a hot, young group of kids ready to make you get down.
