These Thieves began playing and performing together in 2002 in Boston, MA where they met while attempting to buy groceries at a local food stuffs location. Within their first year, they were signed to independent label Focal Records. Unfortunately, their first full-length album, “So They Say,” would never be released due to the dissolution of the fledgling label. These Thieves has spent it’s time since developing a brand of rock that is truly unique; a guitar centered, melodically driven band that creates a blend of alternative and harmonic rock, centered on collective, visual lyrics, and supported by a hybrid of dynamics and sound. The result is a obscenely focused audio observation on human relations, addiction, and perception. These Thieves has played to rave reviews in many of Boston and New York City’s prominent clubs, including The Paradise, The Middle East, Pianos, Arlene’s Grocery, CBGBs, and were featured on Manhattan’s GNYCTV. The band currently performs throughout the Northeast in support of its recently released self-titled EP.
