The Sett are 5 Northern lads, Bolton, Manchester, Bury and sunny Ellesmere Port. All 5 having totally different musical backgrounds, from Folk, Dance, Rock, Pop, Soul, Mod , Motown, Blues. All this makes The Sett's sound different to anything going on right now. The songs describe the country and its surroundings as they are today, the observations are real and current, something that any age can relate to. Our goal is to use our lyrics and music to bring realisation and understanding to the working class and that our music should be the soundtrack to their lives...
