" "Outside the box" a quality that SEVENth referred to often in te interview. Speaking of outside the box, SEVENth cites such eclectic influences as Stevie Wonder, Sade, Pharrell/Neptunes, Jamiroquai to name a few" - Recoil Magazine By: Karisa Wilson

"A conversation with The SEVENth (before the Mike Posner Show)"

"Throughout the course of the conversation I had with the SEVENth, one artist kept popping up in his references to influences--Jamiroquai. Bio

After creating a respectable sized buzz throughout the Mid West, the Hip-Hop/Production duo "The SEVENS" called it quits. As a result of this, Brandon "The SEVENth" McCall's solo career was born.

Having a musical background as marching band percussionist and musical family members such as the "De Barges",The SEVENth isn't your average MC, he's also an all around Producer, Writer, and Engineer for artist of many genres. "Musical diversity is the key, the more music you are exposed to, the better yours will be" said The SEVENth.

Influenced by some of the industry’s biggest names such as; Jay Z, Pharrell Williams, Michael Jackson, Lupe Fiasco, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Stevie Wonder, The Clipse, Daft Punks and N.E.R.D; He has developed a firm understanding of music and is well on his way to becoming more legendary then his predecessors.

In the Past year and a half The SEVENth has been working hard to bring his music and idea mainstream. Receiving radio play throughout the United States and the UK, Performing live on WZZM/ABC NEWS, and opening up for major artist are all stepping stones that are helping him achieve this.
