Lyrics

Once Again

Written By: Suze Simpson

Why did it take so long?
I’ve been standing in the dark so long.
and when, you decide it’s gone
I won’t be here just to linger on.

That’s why, why I must move on.
I won’t seem to notice, carry on.

And it’s happened again
Just like I said.
What happened before, won’t anymore.

Time, and time again
I’m just waiting for the time to mend.
What for? I ask again.
I’m just asking for it all to end.

That’s why. Why it takes so long.
I just kept on thinking we weren’t wrong.

And it’s happened again.
Just like I said.
What happened before, won’t anymore
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...

Think It Over

Written By: Suze Simpson

So it goes on, but I might just take some time,
to think it over, think it over

But I like it, and I like the time I have,
now that it’s over, now that it’s over.

But I might take some time,
Hey but I think I’ll be fine.
Although I might lose my mind I know that I’ll find it.

And it’s long gone, but I might just blame myself,
a little longer, a little longer.

But I’m grounded, and I lost all that I had,
that made me stronger, that made me stronger.

But I might take some time,
Hey but I think I’ll be fine.
Although I might lose my mind I know that I’ll find it.

Now it’s over, and I might just tell myself,
to override it, override it.

But I lost it, and I wasted all this time,
just to find it, just to find it.

But I might take some time,
Hey but I think I’ll be fine.
Although I might lose my mind I know that I’ll find it.

Last Stand

Written By: Suze Simpson

Never had the time to try and tell you all I had to say.
Before I even got a chance to know you, took it all away.

Time was only steps away from ending, closer every day.
Warnings hide beneath the longest wait, then try to get their way.

I see you drowning
Sinking so soundly

I feel you trying
Last stand defying.

Before I knew the road to run and choose, I’d surely lost my way.
It’s hard to face the solemn end alone, when stripped and left to stay.

Never knew the worth of any time, a day was just a day.
Only know the more you try to cling, the more you fade away.

I see you drowning
Sinking so soundly

I feel you trying
Last stand defying.
