The Seventh Floor rocked along. Very Baby Animals, Superjesus. The singer Suze is the focal point and she plays the image of the tough rock chick fronting the band. Get that guitar out sister and rock. We are not talking about subtlety here. We are talking attitude and a strong voice. The band provide the backdrop. Some good songs, but the attitude and belief is the thing that makes it happen.

The Seventh Floor got the night off to a great start. The new guitarist is fitting in well and brings a strong confident style to the band. Singer Suze is a pocket dynamo. Great voice and strong presence. Reminscent of the Baby Animals, but a riffier guitar sound. One song stood out, a mid paced, sweeter number, 2 from the end. The Seventh Floor cut through their set at break-neck speed pulling all stops. The one and only woman artist of the evening, made her welcomed presence felt, displaying the ability to caress a ballad, or rip shit up as required. Thankfully it wasn't just another token gesture bass player with breasts.
It was more than obvious they were enjoying themselves on stage, which spread like wild fire through the audience, that I would have previously deemed as well overdue for the morgue, until the seventh floor played to, and with the audience. The Seventh Floor have played their rock at venues including The Corner Hotel, The Mercury Lounge and featured at 2005 Apollo Bay Music Festival.
