The Shakey Elevators

We are a band that likes its grooves and the feeling of it all from the basement, garage, and barn to the stage.The band is Shakey The Saskatoon Teenage Spaceship (guitar vocal), Donny ( Bass), Hank/Sprinkles (guitar,bass,drums), Drums depends on who's around. They are Greg (Ride Till Dawn), James (Tha Wizards) or Charles (The Foggy Notions). Influences are Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, Ramones, Flamin' Groovies, The Velvet Underground, The Kinks, Bob Dylan, Will Oldham, Willie Nelson, The Deep Dark Woods, The Sadies, Patsi Cline, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Big Star, Alex Chilton, The Replacements, Jim Ford, The Beatles, The Clash, The Feelies, The Deep Dark Woods,The Switching Yard, The Wizards, Catdad and many others. We use vintage guitars and amps. We play in Saskatoon in all the good venues and a little tour to New York last year. The band is very versatile playing shows that rock, country and folk rock, or stripped down acoustic. 3-5 members depending on what kind of show were gonna do that sometimes includes The Science Fiction Co-op Girls singing back up harmonys.
