Bio
Founded in late april of 2011, The Shelbi Vinyl found its form when longtime local songwriter Taylor Moseley decided to start a new project after recently discovering a new sober life. He first found his old high school friend and band mate Trent Reeves around town and discussed the idea of putting together a new project. After a few weeks of jamming, Reeves and Moseley added Kyle Ryan, another talked about songwriter from Denton, Tx. The name of the band originates from a goofy project Moseley had created his last year in high school that he had named after a longtime crush. Together Ryan and Moseley have a combined total of seven solo albums, making the band a more dynamic and eclectic effort.
The band has many influences ranging from pop punk and dork rock to grunge and early indie as well as classic rock and blues artist.
The Shelbi Vinyl is made up of members who all want to go places beyond Denton and even the country. They all carry the ambition to truly progress to something greater than the present, with the skills they have practiced and band they have been created.
