The Shoats are like the name. Recently weaned off of the teat! The teat of Rawk! If you were born into the realm of rawk like the Shoats you would be best suited to find yourself if you were equipped with driving dirty beats, melodically drenched and dripping bass lines with walls of layered sound soaked guitar framed by idiosyncratic vocal work.
The Shoats recently played the Legendary Red Rooster in Burlington, they were described by drunken patrons of the Legendary Red Rooster in Burlington as a heavy groove based band. Some said they liked the Shoats progressive noisy approach. Others commented on the Shoats melodic song delivery. When you ask the members of the Shoats they will tell you all the above with lots of chunk of thrown in for fun! Check out “General Nobody” and you will want to suckle at the teat of Rawk with the Shoats.
