Claremont High School students Matt Kijak, left, and Scott Oakdale of the band The Shock rock out hard to the delight of their fans during last week's Battle of the Bands event at Taylor Hall. The Shock went on to win the competition, witch was put on by the CHS interact Club and Rotary Club of Claremont.

We are "The Shock" from Claremont,CA. We pride ourselves on being fucking weird and doing whatever the hell we want. We are mad men on stage, between wrapping ourselves in tin foil and balancing guitars in our mouths we are the most insane band in the world. Apart from the antics we have amazing funk rock music that has been painstakingly mastered with a metronome for hours on end.
