The Show was formed in Philadelphia under the watchful eye of 70's and 80's Grammy Award Winning songwriters-producers Gamble & Huff who collaborated on hit songs "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me," recorded by Dee Dee Warwick and later by Diana Ross & The Supremes and The Temptations.
Vic and Jay were both previously signed as solo artists to other major and independent labels RCA and Philadelphia International Records they had formed a group as a rapper and singer called Dem Boyz from Philly. They wrote the 2000 version of the Philadelphia Eagles theme song which landed them on the cover of the 5 largest News papers in America for their song, featured in other print media and TV news in Toronto, Atlanta, Tampa, Charlotte and Miami.
The Show then wrote the campaign song for the then Philadelphia Mayor John Street, which gained major news coverage from the US Republican Party for their song saying it was giving the democrats the young vote and was played on all radio, TV ads which on Election Day was played in record setting amounts. The Show became involved in the community by performing for Philadelphia homeless community and even started their own homeless men's basketball league which now competes throughout Philly and New Jersey. They were responsible for help signing the then Rocafella now Atlantic records artist Young Steff and Darkchild/Def Jam artist Megan Rochelle with the records they wrote and recorded. The Show worked with Bow Wow and Jermaine Dupri, co-wrote a record with them on the motion picture movie and soundtrack song called “can I holla”. They were the first hip hop and R & B group to ever perform with the Barnum Bailey & Ringling Bros. Circus.
They performed on the field in the 7th inning of the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets game honoring DJ Jazzy Jeff and were requested by the president of the team to return every year. The Show performed at the 1 Celebrity Game with Rocafella Records artist Freeway. They have written and or co-written for TLC , Blaque, Kanye West, The Corna Boyz, Bangladesh, Yung Ralph, Elvis Williams, Polow the Don, Dallas Austin, Needlz, Kendrick "Wyldcard" Dean, Mohaganny, DJ Ruckus, Chad Beats, Junior, and Adonis. They wrote for Grammy nominee Dave"Jam"Hall (Mary j. Blige, Mariah Carey, Madonna) he is one of mentors he took them to a meeting he had with B.Cox because he is one of Bryan's idols were introduced. They ran in to a friend of his (Bryan) that day and began writing together and she took some songs to Bryan that we wrote and he loved them call us in to a meeting and invited us in to his Black baby camp then he began managing us we are now 2/3 of his songwriting team the office.
We have the 2nd single on T-boz album featuring lil wayne we are working now with Southline Records on our debut album our production partner is spada4 (formely order of chaos (Julez Santana's Clockwork, WWE theme music for John Cena) we are in works to do Angie Stone’s next project working with Bryan on records for Rihanna, Jlo, Mary J. Blige.
