Bio

We are five friends since the good old school days. Each member has their own style and taste in music which means a variety of influences mixed with bodhrans, mandolins, banjos, cajon, and the fiddle result in a uniquely Irish sounding rock and roll. We don't make up your standard 5 piece rock and roll outfit as all of us are multi-instrumentalists so there will nearly always be a bodhran etc somewhere in our songs. With 5 singers and 3 songwriters in the band each song sounds unique. In the last year we have built up a dedicated following of fans by gigging all around Dublin and also a few throughout our beautiful country. We played a gig down in the Music Factory Carlow where Republic of Loose were also playing. Mick and a few of the lads caught our sound check and were impressed. That was a big compliment coming from a great band which we partied the night away with. Our set opens with the infamous Ballad Tune, an attention grabbing song which captures the audience and gets them rocking. Our name "The Show" originated from a drunken Spanish friend's advice stating that a gig is about music yes but its also about the fucking show. We took his advice and try our best to always to put on a great show. So basically if you love being Irish and love good music then hopefully you'll appreciate that we are trying to do something different, something new and something exciting.
