We'll do this chronologically............first off, we had our great friend M debuting her new band The Sick List @ Otto's Shrunken Head. The girl is a born Rockstar for as long as I've known her. M, we love you and thanks for the support! Keep an eye out for her shows around NYC and Brooklyn.
Second stop didn't have me there in body, but spirit. Our New Jersey Assassin Keith Bryson was doing damage and keeping notes down on the Jersey shore. Just cause it's cold doesn't mean there aren't a few spots down there with a winter draw.....From what I heard Jenkinson's had enough people in the house to warm up the crowd for widespread body shots, while Head Trip played the stage. Just a few mentions of thanks: Melissa and Rob for selling so much damn Zygo and putting up with Bryson! Of course manager extraordinaire, John Mosco, thank you for bringing Zygo into Jenkinson's and digging what we do. We'll be back Point Pleasant whether you like it or not.
Third stop was a four day campaign into Florida, invading Miami to Ft. Lauderdale. Premier, our distributor down there is a tremendous team....I wish I had more pictures to cover the madness, but Shawn Begley had me out at too many strip clubs (no cameras obviously) and it all happened toe fast to get on film.....oh, and my pasty ass didn't get a drop of sunlight. Me and Pruckner (our southeastern missionary) would wake up around 8am, spread the gospel all day bouncing from bar to bar, and stay out until 5am converting the night dwellers of sunny Florida to the Zygo goodness. Actually, we saw so little sun that I felt like we were still in my New York apartment (which sees no light). So I'll try to thank everyone proper from our stay and if something is missed, I'M SORRY. From Premier, thank you Shawn, John, Brooke, Dena, and Raul. And just a few honorary mentions of the spots that joined the 70 proof regime: The Shore Club, Pawn Shop, The Standard, Mandarin Oriental Miami, Snatch, Garage in Del Rey, Pangaea at the Seminole (Frenchie you rock!), Murphy's Law, Park at the Hard Rock (Joshua is a true Metal Fan), and Jerry's in Miami for drinking Zygo and serving me and Pruckner food every morning when we look like Death. Oh and I can't forget Natalie, who cared for us at Sushi Samba Miami.
So for now I'm back in NYC/LES, but as I'm writing this Ken is breaking open the Colorado, Arizona, and Cali on a blitzkrieg tour to introduce our brands to the Western inebriation. - http://www.70proofregime.com/

Through a modern sound driven by raw, colossal guitars, catchy melodic hooks, memorable lyrics with plenty of attitude and a driving pulse that brings to mind the early days of punk, The Sick List delivers a jolt of auditory energy that is sure to keep you listening.
Determined to differentiate themselves from the soft girl-fronted rock/pop that had been dominating the music scene, singer Emily Lazar and guitarist Jay Bandel began writing boisterous and aggressive songs with sly and provocative lyrics. Both musicians had previous experience playing and touring with other bands. They found they shared very similar musical tastes, from such 70's punk bands as The Dead Boys, The Slits, and the Runaways to more modern day acts such as Alkaline Trio, Face to Face, Grade, Sparta and Hole. Songs started coming together naturally, centering themselves around a core sound. A sound best described as Atomic Rock; loud, textured rock played with the attack of punk. Tales of dark-lands and deeds illuminated by smiling melodies made the songs that much more addictive and original.
They began their search for a bassist and drummer to help flesh out their new songs. They recruited guitarist Eric Kirshner , bassist Mark Wheeler and drummer Viveca Butler, who had played until recently in the Columbia Records courted band, Dayglow.
The Sick List have played such notable venues such as CBGB's, R&R (Rare), Snitch, Ace of Clubs, Crash Mansion, Lit, Trash Bar, and Scenic, among others. They have been invited to play in the 2007 Millenium Music Conference in Pennsylvania, February 15th. Songs off of their three song demo have been in rotation on Power 98 in Eufala AL, Against the Noise College Radio out of Pennsylvania as well as The WRAT in NJ. Their single,"Sorry" has been streamed online on Pacific Coast Hellway radio,Hotshotbands.com as well as Sirius Satellite Radio.
The single "Sorry" was featured along with other songs from bands such as the Bank Robbers, Stretch Armstrong and Big D and the Kids Table on Little Heart Records Compilation CD, Pucknation.com: The Album III in the spring of 2007.

Emily Lazar was featured on the cover of Boston's music and lifestyle magazine, Impulse and gave live on air interviews at WAAF rock radio in Boston about the band and the magazine.
Lazar is featured as an "upcoming frontwoman to watch" in the debut issue of internationally distributed rock magazine Strutter.
Lazar debuted as the national face for Draven shoes this winter with an ad that ran full page in Vice magazine, the inside front cover of Death and Taxes magazine, the back cover of Strutter rock magazine, YRB magazine, Synthesis, Kerrang! and Revolver as well. Her ads are featured on Billboards in Turkey and other European countries
The Sick List is a featured band on the Draven website, www.draven.com. They have their own page amongst national acts such as Aiden, Evanescence, Atreyu and many more established acts.
Lazar has been featured in fashion campaigns for rock clothing lines Loaded and World Famous.
Imagozine, a music and fashion magazine out of Canada ran a 10 page layout featuring an article Lazar had written on the industry as well as a photo spread for their winter issue.
Glamrockmagazine.com featured an interview with Lazar in their January 2007 issue. They have invited her to do a monthly advice column for their readers which will debut in the spring.
Online Swiss Rock Magazine, www.medazzarock.ch, has given Lazar a page on their site devoted to following her and the band as well as a featured monthly column about life as a musician.
Both Pucknation.com and Rocksellout.com feature interviews of sorts by Lazar during the winter and spring of 2007.
Steeleworkx jewerly endorses Lazar with custom silver and has used her in their online ad campaigns.
Lazar's growling vocal delivery and dynamic stage presence backed by the band's uncontrollable energy and skilled musicianship makes for a show that will kick your teeth in and leave you wanting more.
