Biography

The twins are a product of the great traditions and values of the WV hills and although have made their move to Nashville they defiantly didn’t leave those traditions behind.
“Growing up in the humble surroundings we did, made us the men we are today” said Curtis Simmons. This is a small description of how the brothers grew up and learned the value of hard work at a very early age.
The twins started their music career in church at the age of 5 while singing in a trio with their sister. At the age of 12 they started their first band and played local parties and festivals while also maintaining a healthy school environment as well as playing all sports offered by their school. They continued pursuing their music career until they graduated high school and both entered into the U.S. Army.
Once they completed their tour of duty they picked up where they left off and started their first tour which includes an impressive resume of over 1200 shows and 35 states.
Co-producing their self-titled album along with producer Ric Web has been a life altering experience for the brothers. They are both really proud of the fact that they wrote eleven of the fourteen songs along with playing guitar on some of the tracks.
In many ways, The Simmons Brothers are already a seasoned artist and performer. Their understated intensity, coupled with an undeniable will to succeed, has prepared this talented young duo for a long and prosperous career.
