The Simple Touch are a five-piece rock group originating from Edinburgh. Drawing on a diverse range of influences - from The Eagles to Kings of Leon and from Runrig to Sugarland - it is not surprising that TST has a broad appeal.
After the recording of their debut album, TST embarked on a successful tour supporting the former Runrig front man, Donnie Munro, on a number of his Scottish and English tour dates.
2011 promises to be an exciting year for TST. April sees the release of their new album, 'Just Out Of Reach' as well as a number of concerts and festival appearances including Langholm (with Craig Jeffrey), Berwick (supporting Skerryvore) and Darvel Music Festival (supporting Wolfstone). TST are also set to return to Denmark to perform at two festivals featuring alongside 10cc, The Electric Light Orchestra and Alphabeat.
