Bio

The Sindicate was formed in 2005, when Dominic (Vocals/Guitar), Josh (Lead Guitar) and James (Drums) were attending Hudson's Bay H.S. in Vancouver Washington. Stephen (Bass) was already post-high school and was pursuing music on a daily basis. The band was brought together to combat the forces of Emo and Scremo, and all other nasal singing and throat-destroying bands who've brainwashed the mainstream into thinking that their music was the best thing since Bob Marley and the Wailers. The band began practicing regularly, under the roof of 80's butt-rocker and dope-abuser Dave "the Rave". For months the band rehearsed regularly, with grueling practices in inhumane conditions, until the point of their first recording with Katz Klawz records, in Longview, Washington. There, JD "The Caveman" Davis offered up his studio and time for the band to come in and throw down some tracks on some pro equipment. From there, the band transitioned into more of a reggae/rock sound, feeling the need to make people shake their groove thangs.
The band, in their senior year in high school, moved into a two story house to extend their practice tendencies and further their musical sound. Within months, The Sindicate Lounge, as the band dubbed it, was the spot to be on friday nights, with shows in the basement and parties on the top floor. The Sindicate started playing all over the Portland Metro Area, picking up whatever venue that would have them. It has been 4 years since that point, and things are still riding high. The band is at the point where they want to take things to the next level, and nothing will stop them. Not a stake in the heart, not a bullet to the head, and not a emo band blowing out their ear drums. The next chapter is being written at this very moment...will you be part of it?
