"Jimmy Eat World, The Sinking Teeth - The Tivoli"

"It feels good to see the boys from The Sinking Teeth doing their thing on entry; damn good, in fact. They give us punk, grunge, post-hardcore and rock and in the year since this reviewer last saw them they’ve gotten offensively tight as a unit. The rhythms are super dynamic, Nick Manuell’s guitar tone is completely on point, and without much warning the Melbourne trio has become one of the best young rock bands in the country. Parents, lock up your daughters." - TheMusic.com.au

"Kingswood, The Sinking Teeth - Newtown Social Club"

The ‘puke-punk’ rumblings of The Sinking Teeth are starting to be noticed around the country and they ably supported tonight with a loud and often frenetic set. There’s something more to this band than neo-alternative punk showing the ease with which they can go from straight ahead rock to cutting edge punk to somewhat cruisy melodies. Their recently announced support of Jimmy Eat World in the November will expose them to a wider audience. Definitely worth a listen if you get a chance. - TheMusic.com.au

"The Sinking Teeth - "Oh We Can Beat Them, Forever And Ever""

"...an incredibly electric show that exhibits what live music should sound and look like. There’s a truly raw energy to their performance that translates perfectly to stage..."

"Their act is incredible, and something that I believe needs to be observed first hand. They put on more than just a music show; the group is interactive, their stage-presence is engaging, and the overall product is exceptionally well-polished. If I had to extract one piece of advice from the entire performance to pass on to younger bands, it would be ‘call The Sinking Teeth and ask them how they made a cardboard-box of a room feel more like Festival Hall’." - Where The White Boys Dance

"(Live Review)"

"The Sinking Teeth kept the positive momentum going, producing a set packed with the sort of energy to belie their three-piece status. The noise that came out of these guys sounded like something a six-piece would struggle to achieve and little wonder – their guitarist/vocalist produced a river of sweat in during their 30-minute slot, the drummer was going at it like Animal, and their bassist literally rocked his specs off. These guys will be supporting Jimmy Eat World on their Australian run later this year so if you’re planning to head along, make sure you get there early – you won’t be disappointed." - Reverb Street Press

THE SINKING TEETH began in a flat above a shady pawnshop in Brunswick, Victoria - the perfect place to write grubby tunes. The trio began as three new friends from various bands who needed a new outlet - something to to "sink their teeth into". Having earned their stripes playing all over Australia, supporting bands such as Jimmy Eat World, Shihad, Bodyjar, Kingswood and Calling All Cars, it has been clear since early on the piece that The Sinking Teeth live to play live. Their debut EP White Water was released in late 2013, followed by a slew of critical acclaim, with the next recorded offering from the band due in early 2015.
