The Skeeterz are:
Dawn Palmer: Lead vocals
Jim Souleyrette: Guitar and Vocals
Richard Woods: Bass Guitar
Grant Kersey: Drums, percussion

Noteworthy accomplishments in 2011 include winning the
Georgia State Fair Battle of the Bands and the National Heroes Music Festival Battle of the Bands.

Dawn Palmer has been a singer all her life, but completed classical training in college.
Before joining the Skeeterz in 2007, she toured the Southeast extensively with
The Backyard Band and The Buttercats.

Since 1965, Jim Soulyrette has played in too many bands to mention here.
The most notable of these is Toby Keith's Easy Money Band. In the course of his
35 year career, he has opened for B.T.O., Kiss and Wall of VooDoo as well as
a host of other known acts.

Richard Woods started playing the trombone in Grammar school but quickly switched
to bass. He has been playing in local bands all over Georgia for most of his life.

Grant Kersey started playing drums in Richmond, Virginia at 7 years old.
Prior to joining The Skeeterz he had completed 2 other studio albums with
Totemhead and The Travis Allison Band. During this time he opened for Charlie
Daniels,Slaughter and Toad the Wet Sprocket as well as several other known acts.

Collectively, The Skeeterz have played extensively throughout Georgia. They have
honed their craft and operate as a very tight, nearly flawless unit. They leave excited,
happy fans wherever they play. Known acts that they have opened for include
Molly Hatchet, Mothers Finest and Wet Willie.

Band influences include Led Zeppelin, Alan Jackson, Robin Trower, Frank Marino,
ZZ Top, BB King, AC/DC, Rush, The Police, Beth Hart, Susan Tedeschi and about a
million others.
