The Sleeping Gypsies are a gang of nocturnal ruffians who deliver an energetic and impressive live show. Colin's drumming versatility, Mitch's bass and guitar wizardry, Billy's throwback vocals and Josh's sexy saxophoning blend to create a distinct sound that anyone can enjoy.
Formed in the fall of 2009, they showed an ability to cover a wide range of songs, including just about everything from Van Morrison and the Beatles to Prince, and their jazzy, blues-tinted, rock based original material immediately won over crowds in the bars they were playing. Today, the Gypsies continue to put together an awesome catalog of their own songs, and spend their weekends playing late into the night, while everyone else just dances, sings along, and displays a general wildness. Because they can't help it.
