Bio
The Smith Family Band consist of brothers Derek & Ryan Smith. They recently recorded their debut full length album "For Your Kin" which will be released in May 2010. Having grown up in a musical family and spent half their lives in Nebraska & Minnesota, and the other half in the Arizona desert, their musical roots span from the classic soul sounds of Otis Redding and Sam Cooke, to the blues of Eric Clapton and Duane Allman, to the eclectic roots sounds of The Band, Delaney & Bonnie, and Van Morrison. Their sound is a new take on the timeless music they grew up listening to.
