"Watch out glas, Sons of Lions are on the prowl!"

Nashville’s house show/party scene is no joke, and at this point not even a secret. About a month ago, my boys Sons of Lions threw a rager at their notorious Kirkwood house in celebration of the video shoot for their single, “Hound Dog.” The show, cram-packed and shoulder-to-shoulder, also featured performances by Diarrhea Planet and Spiders Friends. If you know anything about that crowd or house, then you can just picture the mass of unruly college kids crowd surfing and dangling from the rafters. Witness the aftermath of the beautiful chaos, and check out their hot new music video “Hound Dog,” coz these sexy boys are guaranteed to make ya sweat. ;)

Having migrated from their home state of Oklahoma, the four-piece proudly produce their own personal brand of Nashville psychedelic rock -an original sound that is comparable to none other, and as such has resulted in a highly-developed following. The music video went hand in hand with the release of Sons of Lions’ long-awaited debut EP, boogie woogie. The six track record features youthful and upbeat anthems as well as alluring songs of love and lust, all with a colorful hint of Nashville twang. Listen and download their new album release, boogie woogie, here, fo’ free, and check ‘em out live April 19th at The End (doors open at 8pm).

Sons of Lions is a fresh young band from Nashville, TN. They are new to the Nashville scene but don't let that fool you, these boys have been working hard to become a tight and well oiled machine with a common goal of melting faces and getting people to groove. Many listeners have commented on their "old-school" sound with a new age feel, which makes it hard to categorize into one specific genre. SOL plans to keep doing what they do best- playing as much as they possible can, and promoting their debut EP "boogie woogie" which they will gladly give you for free. Come check out their dynamic live show and become a believer that rock n' roll is not dead!
