The Sorren Maclean Band
An acoustic band from Tobermory who play loud.
Just been invited by King Creosote to play the Fence Collective Homegame Festival in April.
Supported King Creosote and Jeremy Warmsley in October 2006.
Wickerman Festival just got in touch to have the band play this year.
All 3 band members appeared on the late Martyn Bennets last album Grit (Real World).
Clocked up nearly 5,000 myspace plays since late last year.
Went down a storm at Celtic Connections Open Stage, great Friday night gigs in Whistlebinkies in Edinburgh and lots of wild dancing and hot nights in halls and bars on Mull.
The band have also worked at An Tobar, The Tobermory Arts Centre, with Michael Marra, Mr McFalls Chamber and saxophonists Graeme Wilson and John Burgess.
Sorren and John have played music together since before High School and both were in Tobermory bands Speechless and The Last Century.
Sorren also plays in a duo with Oban guitarist Finlay Wells.
