The Soul Vitamins

The Soul Vitamins

Ladies grinding on stage and dancing on the bar? This is an average night for The Soul Vitamins. We are a blues, funk, 'n' rock band that specializes in the upbeat, party side of the blues. Get up, sing along, and don't forget to finish that drink! 1 - 2 - 3...SOCIAL!

We are The Soul Vitamins, a dirty white-boy band from the suburbs. With roots in blues, funk, rock, prog, and metal, how can you go wrong?

The Soul Vitamins began as a jam band at local open mic nights and quickly gained attention and fans. Jason Nelson's guitar playing and soulful vocals shows he is the bastard child of Hendrix, SRV, Buddy Guy, Rory Gallagher, and Alex Lifeson (quite the specimen). Dave McCafferty comes to the band with prog, punk, and rock influences, while the rhythm section, Patrick Newell on drums and Johnny Orr on bass, bring an aggressive attitude from their current metal band. What you get is funky, upbeat blues/rock that is sure to satisfy.

We love getting the crowd involved (often on stage dancing and singing with us!)
-Our best show? A small bar in Elkhorn, WI where we had about 20 ladies dancing on the bar! Good times. Good times.

We have streaming songs in the audio section and on our main website at
