The Soundtrack

The Soundtrack has been a band of chance. Principle songwriter & guitarist Dylan Wahlstrom knew what he wanted and wouldn’t stop until his masterpiece was complete. In July 2008 Dylan met vocalist Rachael Petit and the musical chemistry was immediately apparent. The next day Rachael packed up her car and moved from the small town of Saint Petersburg, Florida to Atlanta, Georgia to join the band. The pair began writing together and soon went into the studio to record their first EP “Rumor Has It”. Their friend Shaan stopped by the studio to hear a few songs still in progress. As he headed home, his car died and needed a ride. Dylan gladly offered and they began to talk about music. It wasn’t long before Shaan found his niche in the band as rhythm guitarist. Soon after, bassist Dan Lacasse contacted the band, unhappy with his other project. After a few phone calls and an audition Dan joined the family. Shortly after, the band recruited local drummer Anthony Guinta to complete the lineup. Now all living together in Atlanta, Georgia, THE SOUNDTRACK ARE READY TO TAKE ON THE WORLD!
