The Spaceballs is a Rockabilly Trio from Sao Paulo, Brazil, influenced by artists such as Stray Cats, Brian Setzer, Darrel Higham, Go Cat Go, Eddie Cochran, Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Billy Lee Riley and many others 50s Icons.
The band is formed by Ale Marinho (Guitar and Vocals), David Fraga (Drums), Marcelo Zarra (Double Bass and Vocals) and is very active in The Brazilian Rockabilly Scene usually playing in the main Rockabilly Clubs in Sao Paulo, such as Rockerama Club, The Clock, Metro Pub and Rokcabilly Festivals such as Big River.
The band's set list includes its own compositions and Rockabilly pearls such as 50s and 60s Classic, as well as songs from bands such as The Stray Cats, Brian Setzer, Darrel Higham, Imelda May, Matchbox, Crazy Cavan and many others .
The reverberated Gretsch guitar, David drums and the slaps of Marcelo double bass give an unique character to the sound of The Spaceballs, a band that has come to stay in the Rockabilly scene.
