The Sparrows

Our influences are Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Boston, Nirvana, The Strokes, Vampire Weekend, Green Day, Blink 182, and more. I started the band in 2009 and our first performance was playing "I want to hold your hand" and "all my loving" by The Beatles in front of the entire Junior High at the end of the year at the school's talent show. Now, we're all in high school and music is our lives. Our next two performances were on the 4th of July and at a summer craft show. Then we played the free stage at the Billings fair, and most recently at a party in Laurel. My major influence is Paul McCartney, and I would say my image and style mainly derives from him. We play a wide range of music and styles. What makes us any different from other bands?- we harmonize and have stage presence that makes us look fun and entertaining.
