Lyrics

High

Written By: Jerry Delino

Will it ever be?
I’ve tried so hard to find sweet serenity
Are you still afraid?
Just close your eyes and dream, and feel it fade away.

Time won’t flow, everyone knows
When the pain fades away
And dreams won’t die, with tears in our eyes
You’ve got to hold your head up high….

It’s taken some time,
And I’ve given up the will to change your state of mind
Try and understand,
It’s not so hard to see that I am just a man.

Time won’t flow, everyone knows
When the pain fades away
And dreams won’t die, with tears in our eyes
You’ve got to hold your head up high….

Will it ever be?
I’ve tried so hard to find sweet serenity
Try and understand,
It’s not so hard to see that I am just a man.

Time won’t flow, everyone knows
When the pain fades away
And dreams won’t die, with tears in our eyes
You’ve got to hold your head up high….

Tomorrow

Written By: Raf Toledo

Verse 1

I live my life
Afraid of taking chances
Scared of failed romances
Hiding in my shell

No reason why
Can't take that leap of faith
Asleep yet still awake
So much undone and left unsaid

Prechorus

Regret only lasts for as long as you let it
I can't go on thinking that I should have said it

Chorus

And I...I ain't gonna wait
I ain't gonna wait
Til tomorrow
And I...no matter what it takes
I ain't gonna wait
Til tomorrow

Verse 2
The more I try
Still scared of taking chances
Afraid of failed romances
I'm still hiding in my shell

I can't deny
This fear inside of me
So blinded I can't see
All the possibilities

(repeat Prechorus & Chorus)

Regret

Written By: Raf Toledo

Yesterday, so far away
when life's a blur its all ok
if only you could see things
thru my eyes

You will never, ever be
what you used to mean to me
but i can't help but keep you
in my mind.

In my mind....

Chorus
I close my eyes and I can not forget
not forget
the way you left me standing, i won't regret... won't regret

Remembering its all ok
with you looking the other way
insanity was not too far behind
I wouldn't change a single thing
its funny how much life can bring
you to your knees
and make you lose you mind

Lose your mind.....

Repeat Chorus

Carpe Diem

Verse 1:
Well I have, got nothing to hide
I’ve messed up, I’ve fucked up, I’ve swallowed my pride
Through all of the good and bad times
I’ve found out, who I am, and realized that…

Chorus (1 line):
This is the time of our lives
This is the time of our lives

Verse 2:
Well I’ve had, my crosses to bear
I’ve stood strong, and found out, there’s nothing to fear
You learn that, despite what’s inside
You’ve given it all and you realize

Chorus:
This is the time of our lives
This is the time of our lives
This is the time of our lives
This is the time of our lives

Fallen Angel

Written By: Raf Toledo

Verse 1
Restless eyes
Can’t sleep tonight
But I’ll be alright

My mind’s still high
I can’t fight the light
Figures multiply

Bridge
Thinking I can’t take it
Feeling I won’t break its hold on me
Pretending I’m not worried
Everything’s so blurry, I can’t see

Chorus
So help me, help me
I’m a fallen angel

Verse 2
The more I try
And put up a fight
Nothing turns out right

Try to take a stand
And make amends
Stop and comprehend

Bridge
Knowing I won’t make it
Feeling darkness take its hold on me
I’m lacking self-control and
Becoming everything that I can’t be

Nowhere Fast

Written By: Raf Toledo, Jerry Delino, Archie Dela Cruz

Verse 1:
A simple message contemplated
The fragile fences mended, breakin’ again
I’m starin’ at your best
You stare me down
We’re running out of breath
Searching for higher ground
Somewhere away from here

½ Chorus:
Somewhere away from here
And you don’t know where to go
You’re running away from me

Verse 2:
We never thought it would end so vicious
The shattered dreams tore us both to pieces again
Cause we’re going nowhere fast
You were my everything
I guess nothing ever lasts
You were my everything

Chorus:
Somewhere away from here
And you don’t know where to go
You’re running away from me
And you don’t know where to go
You don’t know where to go

Bridge:
Through every feelin’, the tears start streaming
Heart starts beatin’, my spirit’s weakening
I won’t look back no
I can’t look back nooooo

(guitar solo)

Mellow Chorus:
Somewhere away from here
And you don’t know where to go
You’re running away from me

Modulated Chorus:
Somewhere away from here
And you don’t know where to go
You’re running away from me
And you don’t know where to go

Runaway

Written By: Raf Toledo

Verse 1
Every time you smile at me
It takes me to another place
Let’s leave all the pieces where they lay
Grab my hand, let’s leave today

Chorus
Let’s run away…
Let’s run away…

Verse 2
You and I will find a way
To live our lives and do what we say
No better time and no better place
Come with me, let’s leave today

Chorus
Let’s run away…
Let’s run away…

Bridge
We can leave tomorrow
But what good would that do?
We can drink away our sorrows
Or look for something new…today

(Solo)

Bridge
We can leave tomorrow
But what good would that do?
We can drink away our sorrows
Or look for something new…today
Verse (quiet)
You and I will find a way
Come with me, let’s leave today…

(Pause)

Chorus
Let’s run away…
Let’s run away…
Let’s run away…
Let’s run away…
