With a collective music career of a potentially embarrassing amount of years, The Spirits of the Universe... is a four piece Toronto rock band that cares only about crafting the best possible songs. Genres, styles, image, and classification are all thrown to the wayside. The focus is on the feeling, the energy, the sound, the moment. Do you believe in moments?
If the Crickets, Nirvana, and the Velvet Underground formed a super-group called the Crickvana Underground, it would be a pretty kick ass band! The Spirits of the Universe... would be the first choice to support them on tour, until they were booted from the lineup for drinking all of the beer (and fancy soda pops).
