Bio
The Square Boys are a four piece band from the metro Detroit area who play a variety of styles, primarily rock/funk/blues/fusion/reggae/and bluegrass. All four members contribute to writing songs, and like all true students of music, they are on a never-ending search for their "sound." With a strong feel for improvisation, they often stretch out songs to really find the groove, making the same songs different each night. They are currently working on their first studio cd, with all original compositions, including scorching blues songs like "Doctor Bill", & "I Skipped My Breakfast," funky tunes like "She's Alone," a reggae song titled "Medicinal," as well as jazzy tunes like "Probe" & "Psycho Pomp."
