Bio
The eclectic bluegrass quintet, from Corrales New Mexico, the Squash Blossom Boys bring together traditional folk music, jazz, rock, and reggae. Versed in jazz improvisation and music arrangement, the band creates a unique sound that explores the roots and boundaries of bluegrass music. The bands stylistic versatility lends itself to the demands of multiple audiences. Founded in 2002, the Squash Blossom Boys met and played at the Cibola High School Jazz Band. Since their inception, they have played at festivals, performance spaces, bars, restaurants, and growers markets.
