From the unprecedented band, The BEAT CRUSADERS, The “masked-man”, Toru Hidaka, wandered in from the indie music scene to become a major rock n’ roll phenomena.
This pop maestro who has been making waves and stimulating the music industry is called the “trick star” of his band, the BEAT CRUSADERS, has formed a new band called the "THE STARBEMS”.
In keeping with the essence of power pop and melodic punk, which he cultivated during his stint with his prior band, the sound of his new band, THE STARBEMS, has magnificently pushed up the level of power, speed and loudness. A sound that will remind you of the heavy rock/groove metal of the 21st Century!
In his prior band, Hidaka was the vocalist and rhythm guitar player but now has decided to focus on his singing which now has doubled up the pop punk sound as it seems his vocal skills have improved dramatically.
His new band now has the possibility of a brand new sound with his using the “death voice” vocal style over a poppy rock melody.
To all fans of loud music, be it Emo, Scream, Garage punk, or Hardcore…this band has it all!
