Bio
We are a band of four Daniels in New York City. Daniel Bellury, the bassist, and Daniel Fickle, the lead guitarist and main composer, knew each other from childhood. Daniel Whitt, the drummer, moved to New York City in 2004 and was lost in a sea of bands looking for a drummer. He found an online post for a drummer, and the bottom of the post said "Thanks, Daniel + Daniel." He knew immediately that he had to try it. The three hit it off and worked up a strong collection of songs, however incomplete. Five months later, at a bar in Greenwich Village, Daniel Whitt's sister fell in love with the doorman at the bar. In a drunken state, the three Daniels approached the very attractive doorman and asked his name. HIS NAME WAS DANIEL! Daniel Whitt's sister never dated the doorman, but she definitely connected the three Daniels to the final, integral member of what has now become The Station Myth. The band took their magical connection southward to a cabin on a mountain in Geogia for the summer of 2005. Using Daniel Whitt's and Daniel Fickle's skills as audio engineers, The Station Myth pumped out such cabin-inspired tracks as "On the Mountain" and "There was a Hurricane." The Station Myth returned to NYC after two months with a self-titled, full length album and hasn't looked back since.
