"..... the Weezer-worshipping trip(py)tych also seem to have cut their teeth on a solid stack vintage vinyl from the likes of The Kinks, The Zombies, and The Hollies, with a little Cobain and The Cars thrown in for roughage."-Timothy C. Davis (Creative Loafing) - Creative Loafing
Troops give Stellas the rock-star treatment
By Courtney Devores - Charlotte Observer

Charlotte rock band the Stellas had only toured as far as Atlanta and Raleigh before last month. Now its members can say they've toured the world.
Last week, the foursome returned from a 16-day tour of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kyrgyzstan, where they rallied troops with spiky, original alternative rock and bouncy covers of Weezer, the Beatles and Ace of Base (no, they're not joking). The group plays a welcome-home gig tonight at Amos' Southend.
