Bio
The Straight Ups love to rock faces! We specialize in energetic Rock and Roll mixed with mellow smoothies and funky jams. We also make it a point to entertain the crowd and involve them as much as possible, including solos directly in their faces, dancing with them, including them in epic ninja battles, throwing candy, etc. Our influences include Prince, AC/DC, The Pixies, The Misfits, Bowie. We sound and look different than most KC bands and strive to put on the most memorable Rock show that we can possibly give.
