Bio
Violinist, Gillian Rivers, and violist, Yuiko Kamakari, have performed with/contracted strings for artists such as Beyonce, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, MGMT, TV on the Radio, Zedd, Steve Martin and Edie Brikell, and many many others. The String Section NYC is a versatile group consisting of conservatory-grads who are basically capable of anything and perform avant-garde string quartets in their spare time.
We are also open to performing, as ourselves, for any event you see fit.
