The Strive

The Strive are a local band that formed in 2010 at Manchester music base, at the beginning still developing our sound and writing techniques, In 2011 The strive's sound really began to take a good direction and we began having fun creating songs that sound like the love child of all our favourite bands. Already having some songs done and recorded we set out on getting some gigs at local venues and try to establish a strong fan base. With our wavy atmospheric chorus-based sound we show a variety of both catchy up-tempo tunes and also the occasional slow tempo acoustic numbers, all our songs have catchy melodies that you will have a hard time getting out of your head after you have listened to them. After listening to our single 'Life as It Is' with its catchy melodies and chord progressions you will be wanting more.
