"Dave Chappelle"

"That one joke about the baby and black porn was funny. Don't worry if it didn't get any laughs. This crowd is just kinda whack. Stroy stop crying man. Stroy..." - Dave Chappelle - Dave

"Owner of the Hollywood Laugh Factory"

"Stroy Moyd has a very distinct voice and overall style of comedy. He reminds me of a younger version of Chris Rock. If he continues doing comedy, there is no reason why he shouldn't be making 20 million a picture." - Jamie Masada - Owner of the Hollywood Laugh Factory. - Jamie Masada

"Comedy at UCLA"

"Tough crowds happen in the world of stand up comedy. After 3 comedians went onstage and bombed, we were nervous for our headliner, Stroy Moyd. He opened the show with a little bit of improv. That really warmed the crowd up a little bit. Then he went on and told about 30 minutes worth of stories that us college kids could relate to, which was hilarious. Then he performed a few funny rap parodies which had us rolling! He definitely showed us the difference between amateur and professional entertainers." - Jesse Sachs - Cultural Affair Commissions. - Comedy at Kerkoff Cafe

Bio

"I've been a fan of comedy since the 1980s and I have to say that Stroy Moyd is the best comedian of all time. And I mean ALL time," says Stroy's mother. Stroy Moyd is a 25 year old stand up comedian from Oakland, California. Dubbing himself as The Prince of Comedy, Stroy Moyd recently opened for Hannibal Buress at the San Francisco Punchline, is a 3 time winner of the Fresh Faces Comedy Competition at the Hollywood Laugh Factory and has been seen at both the SF SketchFest and the LaughFest in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Stroy's unique voice and brilliant blend of self deprecation, story telling and celebrity roasting gave him the opportunity to open for Dave Chappelle, Daniel Tosh, and Sarah Silverman. Equipped with his Afro pick, Stroy performs with passion and has enough energy to wake any crowd up, which makes him a great host. The owner of the Hollywood Laugh Factory, Jamie Masada, said to Stroy "You are the next big thing and one day you will be making 20 million a picture." That's coming from a man who gave Richard Pryor one of his first comedy sets in Los Angeles.
