The Subliminal Criminals are a 4 piece rock band from Exton, Pennsylvania. TSC blend powerful original compositions and classic cover material to create an exhilarating live performance. The band successfully traverses multiple genres leading to a well rounded and entertaining experience that engages listeners of all ages and interests. TSC focus on thoughtful song construction rather than freewheeling improvisation. While classic rock of the late 60’s and 70’s is the most heavily weighted influence for the group, all members of TSC are personally influenced by a unique blend of music creating an expansive sonic range.
The Subliminal Criminals were founded in June of 2005 by Blaine Bishop (bass/vocals), Stanton Custer (guitar/vocals), and Thad Toole (percussion). The remainder of 2005 was spent composing a healthy catalogue of original material and establishing the foundation for the band. TSC performed their first public show on 11/19/05 at Crazy Carl’s in Schwenksville, PA. Sean Carlin joined the group in the late summer of 2006 and has added a potent mix of guitar and bass to the Criminals sound. The Subliminal Criminals are working feverishly to expand their repertoire and bring their energetic performance to stages in Southeast Pennsylvania and beyond.
