The Sullivans

The Sullivans are a Seattle-based band featuring front man and lead vocalist Jeff Hill on piano, Kira Fickenscher on violin and vocals and Bill Fowler on guitar. The piano rock group has been described as Ben Folds and Billy Joel meets a Beatles/Bad Finger cover group at an Allman Brothers concert. Combining modern indie rock with orchestral elements and country undertones, The Sullivans offer a sound that is uniquely different from anything the Seattle music scene has the offer.

The Sullivans have been performing together since 2009, but their members vary greatly in musical background. Jeff has been writing and performing for over 10 years both in the Seattle music scene, as a member of bands Hello High Water and Madison Drive, as well as in Texas where he spent his college years. Kira is stepping out from behind a director for the first time, having played violin in a classical setting until joining The Sullivans line-up. Kira was originally brought in to sing back-up vocals for the blossoming project, but the group found her to be such a compliment to the music that she was signed on as a full-time member. Bill Fowler joined the group with more than 30 years of music industry experience having played across the United States from New York to L.A. Bill's passion for American standards and classic rock combined with his technical talent given the Sullivans their defining twist.

The band released their first single "This Christmas Night" in the Fall of 2010, followed shortly by the release of their EP Letters to Remember. The debut EP captures the nostalgic twist on modern piano rock that is characteristic of The Sullivans. The Sullivans music is available for purchase on iTunes and through most digital media vendors.
