Bio

This band is currently a 4 piece project out of Brockville, Ontario, Canada. Playing a variety of different styles of music in one place at the same time. Consisting of 4 people with very different tastes in music:Vocalist and guitarist Jordan Smith leads bassist Steven Kiefer, guitarist Scott Perry and percussionist Brendan Kennedy to create music that can be enjoyed by all.

Started in 2005 by Smith and Carbery, later to add Kennedy and former vocalist Tom Bak practiced in Kennedy's basement for countless hours until it was time for change. With Bak out of the picture Smith took over vocals and lead guitar which put them in the search for a new guitarist. Kennedy's long time friend John Braniff was soon to be The Sunday Fire's new guitarist. When February 2008 arrived Braniff wasn't wishing to be going in the direction the rest of the band pictured musically so decided to leave on good terms which put Smith, Carbery and Kennedy back on the search. They found local guitarist Ian Bain and decided he was a good fit to the new sounding band. Ian Bain left for post secondary education and was replaced by Scott Perry, later in 2009 Nick Carbery and the band split ways and long time friend Steven Kiefer is playing bass. Since May 2008 The Sunday Fire have played many shows across eastern Ontario playing with countless bands including Silverstein Ten Second Epic, The Latency, The Mission District, Everlea, Tonight Tonight, Colfax, These Silhouettes and many more. They have even lent the song "Last Song For Hope" to the CD "Living In the Chorus" which all proceeds from the CD go to Cancer research.
