The Sunday Flies formed in 2002 on the beaches of Montauk, NY and they have been playing inspired and creative original music ever since. Formed by Brown classmates Henry Fischer and Douglas Martin, the band's chief songwriting duo, The Sunday Flies play a wide variety of music that could fit under the category "poetic rhythm rock", as the music can span from power pop to heavy rock from acoustic ballads to funk jams. The band's message and lyrics address subjects like love, transcendence, awakening and creative freedom.
The band's interesting message, their diverse musical genre and their strong songwriting set them apart as a band to watch.
