The Sunset Warriors are a female-fronted, independent rock band based in San Francisco, California. Describing their sound as "neo-soul piano pop," The Sunset Warriors draw on the beauty and culture of the City to inform their music. Started in 2010 by a San Francisco State theater major and a Princeton University graduate, The Sunset Warriors combine the pep and pop of broadway with the soul of blues and classic rock to create a unique and powerful musical sound. Performing original tracks at a wide variety of venues across the Bay Area, from bars like The Rockit Room (SF) and Carbone's (Monterey) to events like the Hungry Hearts Fundraiser, The Sunset Warriors have been compared to artists ranging from The Yeah Yeah Yeah's to Joan Baez.
