Bio

The Support Group was formed in 2005 as the result of a recording project by singer/guitarist John Kemp. After the first day of recording at the project studio run by bassist Sam Pinola and keyboard player Joe Procopio, Kemp gave them permission to add additional tracks to his material. Returning to find several well polished tracks complete with bass, keyboards, additional guitar parts and several other instuments, the decision to form Support Group as a full-time band was made. After completion of the self released album "The Support Group" in 2005, the group played numerous shows in and around the Philadelphia area including a show at Philly's renowned Theater of the Living Arts. With the addition of drummer Patrick Crowling in 2006, the band pushed its musical boundaries even further, and is set to release a new album titled "All These Beautiful Things" in early 2007. In early 2007 Crowling made the switch back to lead guitar (his primary instrument) and the band brought on new drummer Mark Henne.
