"Love this!"

Still very heavy airplay here! Love this. Damn! - WDVC - Carlisle, PA

"Movin' on up"

The Surefire Way is getting lots of spins right now on our station. It is definitely movin' on up. - WCWP - Brookville, NY

"Awesome"

I've recently received a copy of the CD and I'm loving it. A perfect summer band. I tapped my toes the whole way through the disc, and I'm really looking forward to exposing them to my audience. - Todd Wachtel - The Jersey Todd Show

"Grooving to it"

I can't front on nice boys from New York trying to have a good time and make people do the same. I found myself grooving to it. That's all you can ask for in this life I suppose. Straight guitar, catchy vocals and comfortable drumbeats pave the whole experience and really bring you to your happy place. If you're feeling down, go catch a show or just give the record a listen. - Origivation (Philly, PA)

"Millenium Music Conference - Must See"

The Millenium Music Conference can be a little overwhelming. Where should I go, what music will I hear, which bands are really good? We've researched all 250 performers and listened to every one. Why? So you don't have to! [At The Quarter] Michael suggests the jam band harmonies of The Surefire Way. Some lyrics will have you chuckling; all the melodies will have your feet tapping. - Mode (Harrisburg, PA)

Bio

The Surefire Way's intriguing style is built on top of a rock platform but blends influences ranging from folk, funk, blues, soul, jazz, and even a little country. Imagine what would happen if you took the members of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guster, and The Police, and told them to write and play music. The catchy vocals and guitar riffs, combined with energetic bass lines and explosive percussion speak for themselves.

Their newest recording, entitled Turn It Loose, has definitely evolved from their first disc, Ask Me For More. Where Ask Me For More focused on melodic grooves and jam band harmonies, Turn It Loose turns up the heat a notch with a higher energy and more serious tone. Part of this has to do with bassist, Vinnie Fiorillo, and lead guitarist, Rob Adelman, joining original band members Scott Tworek (lead vocals, guitar) and Dan Weiss (drums). New band members bring new musical influences. In Turn It Loose you will hear a marked addition of rock guitar riffs and solos, as well as blues and funk-oriented bass lines. Combine that with the folk and jazz influences already present and The Surefire Way definitely is "the mutt that is rock 'n roll".
