All born and raised in OKC, OK on the grass roots of blues, folk, rock, punk, and reggae, The Suspects capture and encompass the timeless soulful tradition represented within the genre of rock reggae dub. Fueled first by the driving yet eccentric bottom end, Brent West's bass lines create the fundamental underbelly of the groove; carrying us well into the next generation. Phil Martin, original and long time drummer lays the foundation for the rhythmic sounds that the guys produce. Whether its slow and low, or fast and furious; hes always right on time. Taking over the duties of lead vocals and guitar, front man Ron Wallace is undoubtedly the driving force behind the band. His vocals,guitar melodies, and insane licks are unmatched, It's the right balance to bring everything into perfect harmony. Lastly, Bryan Walters. While throwing down on percussion, hand drums, and miscellaneous filler, accents are second nature; true rhythm! You will no doubt be impressed with these guys if you see them play live.
