The Sweet Lovin' Soda Company

The Sweet Lovin' Soda Company

BandAlternativeRock

The Sweet Lovin' Soda Company is a Milwaukee-based indie rock outfit with much to offer. With a mix of rock and roll and the psychedelia of the '60's, the music is just plain original! Some would even call it indescribable. All great art shall not be defined and will always seem familiar.

Biography

Slsc was formed in early 2007. Singer/songwriter Dan Frostman had been writing songs for some ten years before forming the band. He knew that fellow disc golfer Justin played bass, and also knew a guy named Chris Nakielski who played piano. The three formed a trio until Jim Demski joined in on lead guitar. The four jammed without a drummer for some time until Zander came along to fill in their percussion needs but never panned out. Then Chris left for graduate school and it became a guitar based band. The three they call The Sweet Lovin' Soda Company, have been working out ideas and recording ever since. They have used the likes of Rob Bueller and Chad Clausen on drums. The music itself is very difficult to describe...With a keen nack for melody and structure, they packed their bags and were off on their way to the dreamy, indie, meloncholy, epic, psychedelic, pop that could be compared to 60's rock and roll. They seem to be on their own adventure in Milwaukee...when it comes down to it. Simply put...it's like nothing you've heard, but eerily familiar at the same time.

Discography

Slsc is always writing and recording...Their first album entitled The Love Frequency will be done possibly by summer of 2008.
