Bio
The Sweetwater Meltdown hails from Chicago, IL, with good intentions indeed. Our purpose is clear: to provide a comfortable environment in which open minds and personalities can experience live music at it's most genuine state. Members have performed with with musical greats such as Tom Constanten and Vince Welnick of the Grateful Dead, Melvin Seals of Jerry Garcia Band, and Merle Saunders. As a band we have performed with such acts as Ekoostik Hookah, Mr. Blotto, Hello Dave, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and many more. Together we draw upon our own experiences and offer our take on lyrical songwriting combined with an enthusiasm for improvisational passages. We sincerely hope you kind folks out there will take part in enjoying what the five of us have to offer.
